The International Quilt Festival Houston 2023

One of the events currently listed on the RBQ website is The International Quilt Festival Houston 2023.  The International Quilt Festival Houston will run from 2-5 November 2023.  This is a yearly event and the largest of its kind in the USA.  There are 31 different categories in which to enter quilts.  Besides these, there are six major categories to be judged.  They are Best of Show, Master Award for Machine Artistry, Master Award for Traditional Artistry, Master Award for Innovative Artistry, Master Award for Contemporary Artistry and Master Award for Thread Artistry.  Judging is very difficult as all the entries in these six categories are very creative and beautifully made.  The colours, techniques and designs of these quilts are amazing.
