What is a tea towel boa? I saw these in a shop several years ago and didn’t have a clue as to what they were! However, after a closer inspection I understood their purpose. What a great idea! Â
The concept made me think of an old friend in England who had studied cookery. Of course, she not only learned this culinary art, but she also learned some “kitchen rules”. For example, one of these rules was “never throw a tea towel over the shoulder”. This was obviously for sanitary reasons in the kitchen. However, I think she still maintains the habit of a tea towel over her shoulder when cooking as many of us do. She could actually use one of these boas!Â
In fact, I should make one for her! They are quite easy to make if you have a sewing machine and know how to operate it. Â
If you would like to make one for yourself or as a gift for a friend, check out this YouTube tutorial by “Done Before Dinner”. Â
