The Burren Arts & Crafts Fair in beautiful Ballyvaughan (Co. Clare) runs every Sunday from May through October. Why not stop by and meet the makers? All are very friendly, talented and dedicated craftspeople. They would enjoy showing you their handmade crafts. They are very knowledgeable in their craft and able to explain the entire process of what they do.
For example, you will find Aran jumpers and other Aran knits, quilts and other quilted products, natural herbal salves, soaps, and other herbalist products, beautiful ceramics, handcrafted wood items, maps, beautiful cards, paintings, framed photographs and much more. Red Bridge Quilts participates once or twice per month. Contact RBQ if you’d like to know when they will be there during any given month.
Stop by the village hall in Ballyvaughan on Sundays, May through October, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. A great stopping-off point on the way to visit The Burren, Ailllwee Cave and the Cliffs of Moher.
