The Jabiru and the Kookaburra is a true piece of wall art.  Indeed, Aboriginal art is usually quite colourful, and this is no exception.  The fabric designer, Chern’ee Sutton, is an award winning, modern indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people around the Mount Isa area in Queensland.  This design represents “the grace and beauty of the Jabiru and how he performs a special dance for his one true love. The other birds watch in admiration of this special dance, all except the jealous kookaburra who laughs in the distance”.  (Look very closely to find him!)
