Why Do You Love to Quilt?

Do you love to quilt? Do you ever think about the reasons why you love quilting? There are almost as many reasons as there are quilters. 

For example, I love to quilt because I enjoy seeing the fabrics come together one piece at a time until I finally reach the finished product.  Undoubtedly, when I reach that final stage and the quilt is done, I have a great feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment.  I love to look at it from top to bottom and front to back.  In addition, it pleases me greatly to fold a newly finished quilt and see how nicely it sits.  

However, there are many other reasons why quilters love to quilt, as well as why they began this journey.  

All quilters have a story of how and why they started this hobby.  Perhaps they took a class because they were curious.  Or maybe their grandmothers were quilters.  Perhaps they just wanted to try something new.
