This Vintage Look Patchwork Cushion features 100% cotton  Laura Ashley fabric in a quarter square triangle pattern.   In addition, a “fizzy” blue cotton fabric forms a border around the patchwork centre.  This same fabric makes up the envelope-style back of the cushion cover.  Additionally, cotton wadding gives an extra firmness to the patchwork top.  The “stitch in the ditch” quilting method holds these two layers together.

Moreover, the interior of the cushion cover has a very clean finish. For example, white cotton calico lines both the top and the back of the cushion cover.  Overlock stitching neatly finishes off the inside seams.

Most importantly, the envelope closure on the back of the cushion cover allows for easy insertion of the cushion pad.  The sturdy cushion pad gives an excellent form and shape to the lovely cushion cover.

At 35 cm square, the Vintage Look Patchwork Cushion is a perfect size for sofa or chair.  The cushion cover is machine washable and tumble dryer safe.
