“The Kiss” Wall Hanging is a beautifully quilted rendition of the famous painting by Gustav Klimt which hangs in the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria. The main fabric in this hanging perfectly reflects the painting’s gold leaf, silver and platinum. In fact, the hanging appears so realistic that one could be forgiven for thinking that he is looking at the actual painting. Furthermore, the blue patterned border fabric ties in with the flower meadow in the lower half of the hanging.
However, it is the beautiful all-over quilting pattern of ginkgo leaves in gold thread that gives this hanging the “wow” factor. Additionally, the ginkgo theme continues in the gorgeous backing fabric of blue and gold ginkgo leaves on a black background.
There are hanging corners on the back of the quilt for ease in hanging. Simply insert a dowel (not included) and hang on the wall
This wall hanging consists of 100% cotton fabrics. The wadding is an 80% cotton/20% polyester mix. “The Kiss” Wall Hanging measures 78 cm wide x 125 cm long. Machine washable and tumble dryer safe.
