The beautiful Diamond Star Quilt features a large patchwork star in the centre.  Diagonal rows of patchwork surround the star and form an overall diamond design.  Colourful 100% cotton fabrics with small and large flowers form the overall patchwork design on a white background.

This quilt comes with a matching quilted pillow sham to complete the look.  It will hold a standard-sized pillow.  The sham provides a lovely topping for the quilt and will protect the pillow and pillow case during the day.  It has a housewife pillow case opening on the end to insert a pillow.

At 72″/183 cm square, the Diamond Star Quilt will hang down almost to the floor on both sides of a single bed.  The length is long enough to tuck into the end of the bed.  It will reach to the bottom end of the pillow area at the top of the bed.  However, the pillow sham is large enough to cover the pillow area, as the photos show.

The 100% cotton backing on both the quilt and the sham is a blue-on-blue pattern of tiny leaves and ferns.  The wadding on both the quilt and the sham consists of an 80% cotton/20% polyester blend.

The lovely quilting of swirls and flowers in white thread completes the beautiful look of this quilt.
