About Julie Hackett

My name is Julie, and I have been quilting since 1986. In the beginning, I made quilts for myself and my family and friends. While living in several different countries over the years, I joined quilt guilds and small local quilt groups, and participated in many quilt workshops and classes. These wonderful opportunities allowed me to pick up helpful tips and learn different quilting styles in England, Spain, Germany, France, and now Ireland. In 2016, I decided to turn my efforts towards launching a small business from my home. I started out selling my products at local craft fairs, even hosting two charity events at my home every year. I soon became involved in several regular craft fairs and eventually decided to launch my own website: Red Bridge Quilts.
