Are you a bargain hunter? We all enjoy finding exactly what we were looking for in a charity shop.. Sometimes we even find items we didn’t know we needed!
A number of years ago, I found two vintage quilts in a second-hand shop in the Cotswolds. Both quilt tops had a lovely patchwork design. Also, both had a coordinating backing fabric. However, neither one had any wadding, and neither one was actually quilted. I bought them anyway at a good price. Both of them are hanging on a display rack in my home.Â
I didn’t know anything about the history of these two quilts. Did the same person make them? Had they been gifted to someone? If so, perhaps the person receiving them never liked them. Although I do not know the history of these two quilts, I like to imagine that they were once loved
