A rail fence quilt employs the strip piecing method in its construction.  Generally, two, three or four fabric strips come together lengthwise and then cut into blocks.  Laying out these blocks in different patterns creates a rail fence effect.  Beautiful 100% cotton fabrics make up this lovely Rail Fence Baby Quilt.  The pinkish watermelon-coloured fabric with white arrows on the quilt top also makes up the backing and the binding.  The wadding consists of an 80%cotton/20% polyester mix.  The swirling feather quilting design in white thread gives this quilt a lovely, delicate look.  This would make a charming quilt for either boy or girl and would look lovely in any nursery.  The Rail Fence Baby Quilt measures 102 cm square.  Machine washable and tumble dryer safe.
