DESCRIPTION:The Western Branch of the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS) will ho
 ld a quilt exhibition in the Visitors' Centre of the Connemara National Pa
 rk (Letterfrack) during August. The exhibition\, "Quilts in the Park"\, ru
 ns from 14 to 25 August 2026. On Opening Day\, 14 August\, hours are from 
 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the Grand Opening at 5 p.m.   Thereafter\, daily h
 ours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nThe 18" x 18" quilted works on display w
 ill capture and celebrate the many different aspects of the park.  For ex
 ample\, its history\, its flora and fauna\, its majestic landscapes\, and 
 its Connemara pony centre.\n\nThere will also be a live demonstration on q
 uilting.  Stop by and learn about quilting\, see the themed quilts on dis
 play\, and visit the beautiful Connemara National Park.\n\nFree admission 
 and free parking.
